Hi! My name is Stacey, and I’m the founder of Lincoln&Grae Clothing Co. We are a small family-owned and operated Vancouver Island clothing brand located in the heart of the Cowichan Valley. We love where we live and are proud to be Islanders! Full disclosure: I have no formal drawing or graphic design training. The Island is so beautiful, however, that I taught myself how to draw, how to use graphic design programs, and finally how to screen print. When building my business, it was important to me to be able to complete the work myself without outsourcing the printing process or using external fulfillment centres. There was a lot of trial and error, and a lot of continued learning. But I can proudly say that when you order an item from me, you are receiving something that I printed just for you, with my own hands, onto materials and garments that are ethically and sustainably sourced from Canadian suppliers. We use eco-friendly, water-based inks on all our items, and our clothing is prepared as-ordered, which helps to reduce waste and ensures that each item is carefully crafted with each specific customer in mind. Due to the handmade and created-on-demand nature of our items, there may be very slight variations from garment to garment.
